Carly is a funky girl with the brightest red hair I’ve ever seen! For her signature session, we grabed some shots all over her house and took a walk to a near by playground. It was a goregous day, we had a lot of fun, and we got some great results! …Although a lot of the day’s success might be attributed to the nacho snack break Carly’s mom gave us. Mmmm, cheesy nachos!

Kayla is a unique senior who is heavily involved in local politics. For the first time, Kacie assisted me and we walked around the Old Market proudly sporting Kayla’s Russian hat (I really love that thoughtful and unguarded expression) and her Barack Obama pin!
Taylor, Shattuck - St. Mary’s School

Taylor will be a senior at Shattuck - St. Mary’s this year and - as you can probably tell from the pictures - she’s quite the gifted soccer player! She’s also extremely beautiful, bold, energetic and an all around sweet girl. For her signature plus session, we explored the Old Market, got some shots with her kitties at home, and headed down to the soccer field to see that soccer kick in action. I told her not to worry about hitting me with the ball so we could focus on making it feel real. I ended up with a broken flash and a black eye, but it was worth it - we got some killer images!
Courtney, Millard North High School Senior

For Courtney’s signature session, we photographed in and around her home to get some images with a personal touch - from playing the piano, posing with two very large dogs, and just hanging out in the living room. We even got a classic Nebraska hay barrel shot just across the street complete with a moody and stormy sky!

Ali is a remarkable young woman with a wide spectrum of interests. We went to her high school to photograph her in her natural habitat - the journalism room, stopped by her favorite bookstore (Jackson Street Booksellers), and finished up home where there is a beautiful lake just outside. We had a great time working with Ali - it was her idea to sit on the ladder! And we also enjoyed getting to know the rest of the family at the viewing session. It felt like a genuine celebration of their daughter and the person she has become. We hope you have a great senior year, Ali!

The things we’ll do for good pictures… to catch the sweet light, we started at 6:30am down in the Old Market and ended this signature session jumping bike trails at Tranquility Park. Despite a couple yawns from everybody, we got some great images!

We had the absolute BEST (no exaggeration) time with Jordan for his signature senior session this week. Jordan is extremely clever and funny, but he is also very thoughtful and considerate of others. He is always making me laugh - but never at the expense of someone else. During the planning session, we came up with some great ideas to showcase his different sides. We started out with the basics downtown, reenacted a scene from NBC’s The Office (Jordan can do an uncanny Jim impression), grabbed a shot with Jordan’s favorite burrito at Chipotle, and finished up at home. We got so many amazing and fun images, we can’t show them all here, so we’ll be featuring his session on our portrait site soon to share the results with everyone. Keep an eye out!

For our signature session senior portraits, we can find all sorts of unique and different looks all without leaving your very own home. Claire is an artistically minded young woman with a lot of spunk and a sweet heart. We had a great time with her - meeting people like Claire is one of the many reasons why we love our job!

I’m very privileged to have met Mark; he is a fascinating young man! Several months ago, he helped model for me with a school assignment from Hallmark, so we invited him into the studio for a complementary session. Mark has a strong, yet sensitive, generous and helpful spirit about him. From what I can tell, he is extremely bright, mature beyond his years, he loves theology and studying the Scriptures and has a profound confidence in Jesus.He also likes to dabble in photography - we got along great!
