Kameron Bayne, Photographer
With an educational background in philosophy, theology, interpersonal communication and conflict resolution, the first thing you may notice about Kameron is he’s awful at small talk.  But don't let that fool you!  He really enjoys getting to know people and has a gift for sorting out complicated ideas. A true artist at heart, the beauty he sees in life is inspired most by the invisible qualities of love, faith, and hope. Once behind the camera, his quiet presence becomes a source of confidence for our clients as they invite him into a small, but significant part of their lives.

Heather Bayne, Viewing Director
Heather is a genuinely caring, technical savvy, task accomplisher and problem solver (she used to take calculus classes in college just for fun!). With a positive and upbeat attitude, she heads up each viewing premiere. She also maintains the back-end of our computer systems, helps occasionally with retouching or album design and corrects Kameron when he mispronounces words.

Brenda Block, Client Relations
Disarming, outgoing and generous–Brenda loves people and can often be found chatting with anyone from the corner grocery store clerk to the CEO of a fortune 500 company. She will be the one to help you get acquainted with our studio and walk through the entire creation process. She’ll also be there at the end to ensure you had a wonderful experience working with us.

For a late Autumn look, Matt had the honor of being the very last session of 2009.  It was a week before the first snow storm hit, but it was still cold enough to hurl curses at the weather.  Thankfully, we were able to make the day work with frequent breaks for warm coffee and hot chocolate.

As a man of few smiles, three words come to mind with I think of Matt.  He’s athletic, intense, and has great taste in style.  Seriously, the guy plays soccer in foreign countries.  In other words, I think Matt is one of the coolest.  Cheers!

The day is finally here where we show Ethan’s senior pictures!  I know his family and friends have waited a long time for this day to come.  We started the process way back in June and ran into a number of complications that didn’t make it easy on us.  The most significant being Ethan’s untimely accident that resulted in a broken arm just a couple days before our scheduled shoot.  The bad news was the session had to be rescheduled during the studio’s busiest time of the year.  But the good news was by that time, Ethan’s arm had healed and, as you can see… there is no cast in these photographs.  Just Ethan’s beaming smile.

We had a lot of fun finding new spots in the Old Market, doing goofy stuff together and coming up with cool images.  Enjoy your senior year Ethan!

Planning ahead for the cooling weather, we split Elly’s session in two.  We started by photographing her at the family cabin/ranch out in the country, and a month later, we finished up in the Old Market.  Strangely enough, the weather was a lot warmer the second time around.  Only in Nebraska.  Always in Nebraska.  But Elly was great each and every time and we got some fabulous pictures of her – fashionable, fun, and artistic.  Her family is great too; her dad gave us some truly organic apples and pears that Heather made into a delicious hit pie.  We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again at the viewing premiere!

I had a great session with these guys. We started early in the morning at a lake, stopped by a famous neighborhood “hill” and finished at their school where we showcased some of their different interests.  Both Ryan and Nathan play in the band and help out the theater department on stage crew, but they go their separate ways when it comes to basketball and leisure reading.  Both these guys were engaging and a lot of fun to be around, but watch out when the competitive heat turns up.  You don’t want to get in their way when they give each other “the fierce look!”  Congrats!

Josh, Class of 2010 | Elkhorn Senior

Josh is a drummer and a Kansas Jayhawks fan. We played a little basketball, did some tricks with the drum sticks and roamed around downtown Omaha. The more we shot, the more fun it became and I think the results are pretty cool.

Brittany, Class of 2010

For Brittany’s session, she brought a few friends (and her family!) as we created some personalized images at her home on a lake.  Nearby, there were some cool trees and old train tracks full of childhood memories.  It was a bit cold outside, but Brittany didn’t let it bother her too much and we got a lot of great images.  Hope you enjoy the rest of your senior year, Brittany!

Jenna, 2010 Senior

Jenna is a gifted pianist with a sweet presence and sensible soul.  Whether in high heels or flip flops, whether in front a piano or a Harley, Jenna is just plain cool.  There’s a spark in her eyes that just doesn’t seem to go out which makes her a joy to be around and an inspiration for a photographer like me.  Congratulations Jenna!  May your future always shine bright.

For Whitney’s session, we took pictures all over her hometown of Blair.  First stop was a weathered red family barn to catch some early morning sunlight. Unfortunately, it hid just behind the clouds for most of the time, but we still got some fabulous images there!  Second stop, Whitney’s home for some elegant decor and a picture on the deck overlooking the rest of town.  Third stop was the football field to hear some of her cheers in full cheerleader inform.  And finally we made it downtown for some images with a casual yet sophisticated look.  By the time we were done, everyone was exhausted and I’m sure Whitney was ready for a nap.  But I think all our hard work paid off because I’m very happy with the final results – these are some of my favorites yet!  Congratulations and I hope you have a great senior year, Whitney!

We’ve seen Courtney a lot this summer!  Thanks to Anna (and Courtney’s infectious personality), I feel like we’re all old friends now.  It was a very active shoot; we started at the house, went to a nearby park with an old basketball hoop, came back to the house, went to a nearby water fall, and finished up at the house.  At each location stop, we gained more people helping off camera until we had three or four car fulls.  Needless to say, this session was a lot of fun!  I’m excited to see everyone again at the viewing this week and show the rest of Courtney’s fab-U-lous images!kameron-dg

Cindy, 2010 Senior

We had a beautiful morning while downtown in the Old Market for Cindy’s photo shoot.  Armed with a handful of ideas (and a stack of books, a violin and a beautiful dress), we got a lot of variety in a short amount of time.  This was good because we had to be one step ahead of the farmer’s market!

Cindy was a lot of fun to photograph.  She’s friendly, a great communicator (in two different languages), beautiful, smart and quite strong (do you see all those text books she has to carry?!).  And she knows how to play that violin!  If we were thinking ahead, we should of put out an empty hat and easily made some tips during the shoot.

Congratulations Cindy!
