Although life is a lot bigger than our jobs, we are humbled and filled with gratitude photography is the kind of work that can express the intangible qualities of life and inspire us to live it more fully! With this blog, we hope to explore the art form of photography, to grow as people, and find ways to contribute to the larger community of our world, and… perhaps provide a small glimpse into the daily life of our studio. There are a lot of photographers nowadays but few of them have such incredible passion for their craft that makes every image they create the reflection of their soul… [Kameron's images] are as sensitive, a little bit mysterious, very honest and kind as [he] is.
Kameron Bayne was one of my classmates during 10 months of an intensive photography program at Hallmark Institute of Photography back in 2007. When I saw some of his images for the first time it was clear to me that his work was absolutely different from what other students did. Even though each one of us tried to follow guidelines when taking photographs, Kameron’s images always turned out much more than just an example of perfect composition and beautiful color palette. They were very meaningful, strong, ready to burst out with a storm of emotions but at the same time calm, mysterious, observing and extremely intriguing.
When I look at Kameron’s present work I can see his soul in every photograph. He is one of those photographers who do not get caught up in modern technologies overdosing their images with special effects to make them feel unique. Kameron sees the final image long before he presses the shutter. He doesn’t need to know how to create stories with his images because they are already beautiful novels and the secret to their success lays deep within.
